When Hungarian marque, Keeway, made its entry into the Indian market, the brand announced there would be more models to come. After initially launching 3 products and then the fourth one, Keeway India has launched the all-new K300 twins – K300 N and K300 R. The brand claims the two motorcycles offer an optimum blend of power and performance with unique features and styling.
The all-new K300 N will be available for test rides at all the Benelli | Keeway dealerships from today onwards. Interested customers can also book the Keeway K300 N by paying INR 10,000 using the brand’s website or by visiting the dealership. Keeway says deliveries for the K300 N will start at the end of September 2022.
Keeway has launched the K300 N street fighter at a starting price of INR 2,65,000 ex-showroom. There will only be a single variant on offer. However, there will be a total of 3 colour options to choose from. The pricing of the K300 N varies depending on the colour option you choose.
The K300 N is available in 3 colour options – Matte White, Matte Red and Matte Black. The starting price of INR 2,65,000 ex-showroom is for the Matte White colour option. Meanwhile, the Matte Red colour option retails for INR 2,75,000 ex-showroom. The most expensive one is the Matte Black colour option, which retails for INR 2,85,000 ex-showroom.
The Hungarian marque says the brand designed the K300 N to deliver spontaneous fun on the street. Furthermore, the brand also claims the K300 N will redefine the naked segment by offering great ride ergonomics as well as the thrill of a sports motorcycle. The all-new naked motorcycle from Keeway also gets a host of features. The minimalistic design shows off the bassinet frame and also exposes the aesthetic tubing around the engine. Meanwhile, it also gets low-profile fenders for a sportier look.
The Keeway K300 N also gets an upright riding position and an angular 12.5-litre fuel tank for your knees to grip onto. A higher front end and handlebar-mounted mirrors also give a commanding view of the front as well as the back. Keeway claims the K300 N will feel right at home zipping around in the city or on extended highway joyrides.
Powering the all-new K300 N is a 292cc liquid-cooled 4-valve single-cylinder engine. This motor puts out 27.5 PS of power at 8,750 rpm. Meanwhile, the torque output stands at 25 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The K300 N gets a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch. The latter helps manage wheel speed while downshifting and prevents wheel hop.
The Keeway K300 N also uses 37mm upside-down forks, which Keeway claims give it a plush ride. At the back, it uses a centrally-mounted monoshock. As for the brakes, the K300 N uses a radially-mounted 4-piston calliper with a 292mm disc at the front. At the rear, the K300 N uses a single-piston calliper with a 220mm disc brake. The K300 N also comes with Dual-Channel ABS as standard. It also comes with a 110/70-section front and a 140/60-section rear tyre with 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Keeway K300 N measures 1,990 mm in length and 780 mm in width and has a height of 1,070 mm. Meanwhile, the wheelbase stands at 1,360 mm. The ground clearance and fuel tank capacity of the K300 N stands at 150 mm and 12.5 litres.
