Keeway SR250 Key Highlights
Overall Design Language
The Keeway SR250 is an old-school scrambler sporting retro design elements. This is evident from the block pattern tyres, multi-spoke wheels, chopped fenders, front fork gaiters, a circular instrument console, ribbed pattern seat and more.
Features On Offer
In terms of equipment, SR250 gets a round single-pod digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity and an LED lighting package.
Engine and Mechanicals
For the powertrain, the Keeway SR250 is using a 250 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This motor makes 16.08HP of peak power at 7500 rpm, and 16 Nm of maximum torque at 6500 rpm. Keeway SR250 tips the scale at 120kg. Meanwhile, braking is taken care of by a 300mm disc up front and a 210mm disc at the rear.
In terms of safety, the motorcycle gets dual-channel ABS. The fuel capacity of 14.2 litres is good enough for daily urban travel and occasional weekend runs. The 160mm ground clearance is also adequate to tackle Indian road conditions. Meanwhile, the rear adjustable suspension will take care of your riding requirements, both solo or with a pillion alike.
Keeway SR250 Rivals
The Keeway SR250 will rival the much more popular Royal Enfield Hunter 350, TVS Ronin and Kawasaki W175 in India. It joins Keeway’s existing lineup in the Indian market which currently has seven products on sale.
