Kawasaki Z250 with ABS & slipper clutch in 2015

Taking customer requirements and suggestion seriously, Kawasaki has decided to offer more tech on the recently launched Z250 motorcycle.

Starting from 2015, the Kawasaki Z250 models will come equipped with ABS and an Assist Slipper Clutch. The Assist Slipper Clutch will be offered as standard while ABS might be optional. Expect the weight of the bike to increase by a few kilos.

Based on the new Ninja 300 and using the powertrain from the previous Ninja 250R, the Kawasaki Z250 is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, parallel-twin, DOHC petrol motor producing 31 BHP of power @ 11,000 RPM and 21 Nm of torque @ 10,000 RPM mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

With the introduction of these features, it is inevitable that the price of the Z250 will move higher. What is already an overpriced motorcycle, will demand more from your wallet.
