Kawasaki reveals supercharged Z H2 naked motorcycle

Kawasaki has officially revealed the all-new hyper-naked motorcycle which has a supercharger for the engine. The new Z H2 for 2020 will be a prime rival to Ducati’s upcoming Streetfighter V4 which will belt out 208 HP of power. The 2020 Kawasaki Z H2 looks just as technical and futuristic like the H2 siblings and will come to India by mid-2020 in limited numbers.

Powering the Kawasaki Z H2 is a 998cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line 4-cylinder, DOHC petrol motor with a supercharger producing 197 BHP of power @ 11000 RPM and 137 Nm of torque @ 8500 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper assist clutch. The bike has a 120mm front suspension travel, 134mm rear monoshock travel, 190mm rear tyre, 120mm front tyre, ground clearance of 140mm, kerb weight of 239 kg, fuel tank capacity of 19L, seat height of 830mm, length of 2085mm, width of 810mm, height of 1130mm and wheelbase of 1455mm.

The Kawasaki Z H2 makes use of Showa separate function big piston front USD forks and a Showa Uni Trak rear monoshock. The bike makes use of a Brembo M4 calipers are the front with dual 290mm discs and a twin piston rear caliper with 226mm single disc. Making use of the engine as a stressed member, the Z H2 rides on a high-tensile steel trellis chassis exposed in the neon green shade.

Other features to be mentioned include a sculpted fuel tank with separated shrouds, split seats, alloy wheels, full size exhaust, rim stripes, aerodynamic mirrors, small fly screen, etc.

Kawasaki will price the Z H2 cheaper than the fully faired H2 motorcycle, but this one will still be expensive by naked superbike standards.
