Kawasaki reveals MY22 Ninja ZX-6R with new colour & graphics

Kawasaki has unveiled the 2022 Ninja ZX-6R for the international market. And now customers will have two new colour schemes to choose from. These are Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray with Metallic Diablo Black and Metallic Matte Twilight Blue with Metallic Diablo Black. There’s no change in the mechanicals or equipment list.

Kawasaki ZX-6R – Engine Specs

Kawasaki continues with the same four-cylinder 636cc engine that is matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The performance output figure stands at 128.2HP and 70.8 Nm. Kawasaki 2022 Ninja ZX-6R makes use of an aluminium perimeter frame. Along with this, the motorcycle also gets a semi-faired built with a muscular fuel tank, a split-style stepped-up seat, an upswept exhaust, and ‘6R’ badging on the fairing. As far as the pricing is concerned, the ZX-6R has a price tag of USD 10,499, which converts to INR 7.86 lakh.

Feature Highlights

To ensure complete safety, Kawasaki is making use of disc brakes both on the front and rear. Dual-channel ABS and Kawasaki traction control are standard. Other features include Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), sophisticated instrumentation, styling with twin LED headlights and taillight, Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS), selectable power modes, Assist & Slipper Clutch, comfortable ergonomics with adjustable clutch lever, multi-function LCD screen and more. The aluminium chassis supports inverted forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit with a fully adjustable spring preload on the rear end. Kawasaki’s equipped hardware setup makes the motorcycle a joy to ride both on the track and streets.

Ninja Nameplate In India

Kawasaki is one of the renowned motorcycle makers in the world. And even in India, the brand has a high reputation among motorcycling enthusiasts. The Ninja nameplate of the brand has been quite popular and continues to attract a healthy number of customers. This 2022 Kawasaki ZX-6R will also make its way to the country sometime next year. And we expect the pricing to remain almost the same, thus expected to start somewhere around the INR 11 lakh mark.
