The Kawasaki ZX-10R was launched in September 2024 at a price of 17.13 lakh. Later the company made an increase in its price and the price went up to 18.50 lakh. However, Kawasaki has reduced the price of the 10R by INR 1.14 lakh to make it economically more reasonable.
The ZX-10R comes with a 998 cc, four cylinder, liquid cooled engine. This engine generates the power of 200.21 bhp at 3200 rpm and torque of 114.9 Nm at 11400 rpm. The bikes has a 6 speed gearbox and four riding modes are offered: Sport, Road, Rider and Rain.With 17-litre of fuel capacity, it gives out a fuel efficiency of 16 kmpl and has a top speed of 299 kmph.
The bike stands on a Twin Spar, Cast Aluminium frame and comes with a kerb weight of 207 kg and seat height of 835 mm. Talking about the suspension, at front the ZX-10R has an inverted fork (BFF) with an external compression chamber. At rear it has horizontal Back-link, BFRC lite gas-charged shock with piggyback reservoir. Also both suspension comes with Preload Adjuster. At front and rear the bike has disc brakes of 330 mm and 220 mm.
Various features have been offered in the ZX-10R such as Digital instrument cluster, Call and SMS Alert, Service Reminder Indicator, AHO (Automatic Headlight On), DRLs (Daytime Running Lights), LED tail light, LED headlights, LED Turn signal, GPS Navigation, USB charging slot. Safety features have Traction Control, Dual Channel ABS, Cruise Control and a Hazard Warning Lights.
