Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R photo gallery

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R is also known as the ZZR1400 in European markets
Green is synonymous of Kawasaki. It is the strongest accelerating production motorcycle.
The bike is simply 'big' from any angle you look at it
With a wheelbase of 1,480mm, the ZX-14R is a long bike too
Rear end is not as high as other supersport bikes
Design language is rather simple, no edgy treatment anywhere
With dual XL sized exhaust pipes, the rear looks heavy as well
Tank and the pillion seat are almost at the same height
Quadruple projector headlamp setup, split into two. A white pilot lamp positioned on either end.
Air duct between the headlamps
Windscreen is bubble shaped, and works perfect in deflecting wind when you lean forward

Instrument cluster gets analogue speedometer and tachometer with a MID in between. MID includes external air temperature, DTE, fuel gauge, gear position indicator, odometer, clock and dual trip meters.more
When you turn the ignition on, the instrument cluster performs a test run
No electronic damper on the handlebar, as seen on the Ninja ZX-10R
Track spec short throttle cables. RHS control switch houses the kill-switch and the electric starter.
Clutch and brake levers are adjustable
LHS control switch houses the horn, turn indicators, hazard light switch, high / low beam and a switch to toggle the MID and change power modes
Front disc brake fluid on the handlebar

Set the rear view mirror in your desired position, and later, you can adjust the viewing angle separately. Notice the shape of the rear view mirror, that is for better aerodynamics.
Dual semi-floating 310mm petal discs. Caliper is a dual radial-mount, opposed 4-piston, with 4-pads.
Thematic quadruple fins on the side fairings. On the 2014 model, they are seen in black, the 2013 version was green.
Ninja nomenclature on the fairing and a turn indicator below
Tank looks massive. You feel this when you notice the rider-seat to handlebar travel range.
Kawasaki badge on the tank, will need thorough cleaning
XL sized, hard tank pad
Exhaust pipes making their way out from the engine which is a 1,441cc, 16 vavle, DOHC, liquid-cooled, in-line four cylindr engine producing 200 PS of power and 162.5 Nm of torque
KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) and ABS stickers on the front mudguard
Big radiator to keep the 'big' engine cool
Horn mounted in front of the radiator
Two XL sized radiator fans. Audible when the bike is turned off.
Foot pegs have a rubberised top end, for better grip
Look at that huge exhaust pipe, all-black
If your pillion rider wears heels, scratches on the exhaust pipe are inevitable
Close look at the exhaust pipe
Notice the reversed gear lever
New gunfighter-style seats' sculpted shape provides hip support during strong acceleration. Slimmer at the front, it also facilitates the reach to the ground when stopped at lights.
Pillion grab rail also gets two hooks for carrying convenience
ZX-14R badge under the pillion seat. Notice the seat texture.
V shaped LED tail lamp unit was nothing extraordinary. Turn indicators are integrated in the rear body panel.
530-size chain and 41T >> 42T rear sprocket
Single 250mm petal disc. Caliper is an opposed, twin-piston unit
190 section Bridgestone Battlax rear tyre
Seat can be opened from under the pillion seat panel
The usual wiring setup under the seat
Rear disc brake oil filler is located under the seat
Notice how the fuel tank extends under the seat to accommodate that extra fuel
