Kawasaki has unveiled the Ninja H2 supercharged superbike at the EICMA Show in Milan.
Powering the road-spec version, the Ninja H2 is a 998cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line 4-cylinder, supercharged petrol motor producing 207 BHP of power with ram air and 197 BHP of power without the ram air. Engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox linked via a wet multiplate clutch. The bike produces 133 Nm of torque @ 10,500 RPM. Rider control aids include ABS, traction control, launch control, quickshifter, engine brake control, rear lift suppression etc.
Also, this is a rider only motorcycle and does not get a pillion seat.
The Ninja H2 is heavy at 240 kg compared to the recently unveiled Yamaha YZF-R1 which weighs only 199 kg.
The Ninja H2 is priced at $25,000 in the USA and the bike should cross the price bracket of Rs. 30 lakh when launched in India.
