Kawasaki has introduced the Ninja H2R back in the Indian market. The track weapon comes with a price tag of INR 79.90 lakh ex-showroom. The previous model was priced at approximately INR 75.80 lakh ex-showroom in India. The motorcycle is a track-only model and comes in a single colour option. The bike features the Mirror Coated Matte Sparkle Black colour theme that is also similar to the predecessor. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R is available for booking through digital sales channels.
Design-wise, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R is similar to its predecessor. The motorcycle features a sharp and eccentric design with a single saddle, single-sided swingarm, and aerodynamic bodywork. The front fascia features a sharp design that incorporates a ram air duct. The motorcycle also features winglets instead of wing mirrors. Aerodynamic winglets are also present on the side of the vehicle as well as the tail section. The bike also comes with a bubble windscreen, a chiselled tank and a Titanium straight-pipe megaphone-style silencer.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2R comes with a 998cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line Four engine with a Supercharger. The supercharger is designed by a developed Kawasaki motorcycle design team in collaboration with companies within the Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) Group. This includes KHI companies involving the Gas Turbine & Machinery Company, Aerospace Company, and the Corporate Technology Division.
The engine produces 310 PS of power as standard and 326 PS of power with Ram Air Induction. The motorcycle also makes 165 Nm of twisting force. The Ninja H2R comes with a quick-shifting dog-ring type transmission with 6-speeds and a hydraulic clutch with a back-torque limiter.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2R comes with a trellis frame construction chassis, 330 mm Brembo semi-floating disc brakes, Ohlins TTX36 Rear Suspension, KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function), Ohlins Electronic Steering Damper, Bosch IMU bank angle display and the Kawasaki River Mark usually reserved for models of historical significance.
