MG Motor has announced a price hike among all its model ranges of up to 3% which will be effective from January 2025 onwards. The company has stated increased input costs and external factors to be the reason of the hike. In India, MG Motor now sells seven models: the Gloster, Hector, Hector Plus, Astor, Windsor EV, Comet EV, and ZS EV.
Satinder Bajwa Singh, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW MG Motor India Private Limited; stated, in response to the announcement, that the company’s commitment is the quality, innovation, and sustainability; and that remains a priority and drives the company to continuously improve their offerings. To counteract the increased input prices, small pricing modifications are unavoidable. A slight price increase protects them from inflationary pressures, even though they work to lessen its effect on the clients.
