Jaguar Land Rover To Get A New Identity As JLR
Interestingly enough, the days of Jaguar Land Rover are now officially over. Starting from June 1, the UK-based luxury automaker is officially known as JLR. It’s a new corporate identity that reunites the iconic Land Rover model’s transition to brands under a new JLR umbrella, thus bringing them on the same footing as Jaguar. We are aware that JLR is obviously doing more than just creating a new name and identity. Manufacturing facilities are making massive transitions for the electric future. Thus, the automaker has plans to move swiftly in that direction.
We are aware of JLR’s next-gen ELR platform for electric SUVs. This will most likely underpin the Range Rover EV in 2025. On the Jaguar side’s story, there’s also a new JEA platform. This will also arrive that year for three new EVs. This includes a four-door GT. Interestingly enough this will have more power than any production Jag in history.
