Jeep India has expanded its MY25 Meridian lineup with the introduction of the 4×4 Automatic Transmission (AT) option on the Limited (O) variant. This variant was previously exclusive to the top-spec Overland variant. The move aims to meet customer demand for enhanced performance and off-road capability.
The Meridian Limited (O) 4×4 AT variant retains the robust design of the Meridian SUV, with a few enhancements to its exterior and interior. The SUV features a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-diesel engine, producing 170 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. It can be paired with either a 9-speed automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission.
Inside, the Meridian Limited (O) offers a modern and spacious cabin with premium materials and advanced technology. The SUV includes a 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity. The new variant also features programmable ambient lighting, hood and side body decals, and eyeliner for a customized look.
The Meridian Limited (O) 4×4 AT variant is designed to handle both challenging terrains and everyday city driving. The SUV’s 4×4 drivetrain ensures excellent traction and stability on various surfaces. The suspension system includes McPherson struts at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear, providing a comfortable ride.
The Meridian lineup is priced between INR 24,99,000 and INR 38,79,000 (ex-showroom). While the price of the new Meridian variant has not been announced yet, bookings for the MY25 Meridian, including the new variant, are now open at all Jeep dealerships across India and online.
The introduction of the 4×4 AT Limited (O) variant expands the Meridian’s appeal to a wider range of customers. With its robust performance, advanced features, and enhanced off-road capability, the Meridian continues to be a strong contender in the premium SUV segment.
