Jeep Compass gets costlier, all thanks to the rise in input costs. High inflation has impacted most countries, and there’s a significant increase in auto components and raw materials prices across the globe. Thus with the latest price hike, Jeep Compass is now available in the price range of INR 20.89 lakh to INR 32.67 lakh (ex-showroom). Just two months back, in September, Jeep had hiked Compass’s price by up to Rs 90k. At the start of this year, the Jeep Compass base variant retailed around INR 18.04 lakh.
So by the calculation, there’s a jump of more than INR 3 lakh in a span of around ten months. At the same time, the top-spec Trailhawk diesel variant has witnessed a cumulative price hike of around INR 2 lakh in 2022. Jeep Compass prices have been increased in the range of INR 20,000 to INR 1.80 lakh. The only exception is the Sport diesel manual variant that will continue at the earlier price of INR 20.89 lakh. The highest price hike of INR 1.80 lakh is in the case of the base-spec Sport petrol manual variant.
The new price is set at INR 21.09 lakh. Apart from the Sport petrol, the price increase of other variants is in the range of INR 20,000 to INR 45,000. Jeep Compass Longitude and Night Eagle variants have become costlier by INR 25,000. Meanwhile, the Limited and Anniversary Edition retailed for around INR 40,000 and higher. The 2022 Jeep Compass Model S diesel manual variant will cost INR 40,000 more. Whereas its petrol automatic and diesel automatic 4×4 variants have become costlier by INR 45,000. A similar price hike is also applicable on the Trailhawk diesel AT 4×4 variant. Earlier this year, in September, Jeep announced a uniform price hike of INR 90,000 for select variants of the Jeep Compass.
