JEEP celebrates 80th Anniversary with special-edition Compass, Wrangler and other models

FCA has announced that the JEEP brand is celebrating 80 years of 4×4 freedom and adventure with its unique 80th Anniversary special-edition models of each vehicle in the brand’s portfolio. The 80th Anniversary special-edition models include – 2021 Jeep Wrangler, 2021 Jeep Gladiator, 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2021 Jeep Cherokee, 2021 Jeep Compass and the 2021 Jeep Renegade. 

The Jeep brand was born in 1941 and has since then offered its customers a unique appearance and great off-road ability. The 2021 line-up has added a host of advanced safety and technology features, along with the timeless design. The special edition models will also come with unique treatment inside and out, including distinct Granite Crystal finish wheels, grille accents and commemorative badging.

In addition to this, Jeep is also offering the special edition customers with Jeep Wave premium service customer care program inclusive of the 2021 model. The program includes three years of worry-free maintenance at Jeep dealerships, including oil changes and tire rotations, 24/7 support via phone or online chat, trip interruption and first-day rental coverage and VIP access to select, exclusive Jeep brand events. 

All the Jeep special edition models will come with fourth-generation Uconnect system with 8.4-inch touchscreen integrated with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio and GPS navigation. All models are also equipped with the 80th Anniversary commemorative badge and select models such as the Wrangler and Gladiator come with Black diamond embossed cloth seats with 80th Anniversary tag.

The brand has also revealed the pricing of the 80th Anniversary special-edition models which are as follows. 2021 Jeep Wrangler USD 35,990 (USD 39,490 for four-door models), 2021 Jeep Gladiator – USD 41,740, 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee – USD 44,335 for 4×4 models, 2021 Jeep Cherokee – USD 33,805 for 4×4 models, 2021 Jeep Compass – USD 29,695 for 4×4 models, and the 2021 Jeep Renegade – USD 27,595 for 4×4 models. An additional USD 1,495 destination will be added on top of the MSRP pricing mentioned above. 

The Jeep 80th Anniversary special-edition models are expected to arrive in North American showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2020.
