Jawa Yezdi recently conducted a Mega Service camp in Noida, Delhi. Under the Mega Service Camp Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles announced that they would be catering to the brand’s motorcycle of model year 2019 to 2020.
A Phased recall?
While some may view this as a phased recall, as Jawa Yezdi are targeting motorcycles from a particular model year i.e. 2019 to 2020. A camp should be open to all motorcycles regardless of their manufacturing year. The company also assured a comprehensive vehicle health check-up and a free replacement of select parts. This raises questions: Why are specific parts being replaced for free? Could these parts be faulty, leading to a potential safety risk?
Precedents and Future Plans
This isn’t the first time Jawa Yezdi has organized such a service camp. The company has previously held successful Mega Service Camps in Jaipur, Lucknow, Cochin, and Kerala. In these camps, the company serviced over 1,000 motorcycles.
In a bid to provide a holistic service experience, Jawa Yezdi partnered with original equipment suppliers such as Motul, Ceat Tyres, and Amazon. These partners weree present at the Mega Service Camp to assist customers.
Furthermore, Jawa Yezdi also offered complimentary extended warranties to its customers based on the motorcycle’s health evaluation. A designated zone was also set up for owners interested in upgrading their motorcycles.
Similar camps will be held in more cities soon to cater to all Jawa Yezdi customers.
Jawa Yezdi real intent behind the camp
While some may view this as a phased recall, it appears to be a customer-centric initiative by Jawa Yezdi. By offering free part replacements and extended warranties, the company is not only addressing potential issues but also enhancing customer trust and satisfaction.
