No idea when this one would be delivered, but Classic Legends has introduced a new 90th Anniversary Edition of their classic Jawa motorcycle. This bike is available in limited numbers only, only 90 units to be precise and has been priced at INR 1.72 lakh ex-showroom. The Jawa 90th Anniversary Edition can also be bought by those customers who already have a confirmed booking for the bikes, but this would happen via a lucky draw. New customers can also apply for this limited edition motorcycle by visiting the nearest Jawa showrooms.

Classic Legends will announce the results of this lucky draw from 23rd of October, 2019 for 9 days. Customers will be sent an email along with a phone call to notify they are eligible to buy this exclusive motorcycle and this bike is claimed to be delivered within 15 days or more depending on the transit time. However, we have our fingers crossed knowing Jawa and their delivery saga till date.

This particular model pays homage to the Jawa motorcycle from 1929. Hence, the 90th Anniversary Edition. The bike which gets this special tribute is the 500 OHV Jawa of 1929, and even the new paint scheme is similar to the iconic vintage classic.

Powering the Jawa 90th Anniversary Edition is the same 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke petrol motor producing 27 BHP of max power and 28 Nm of peak torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is derived from the Mahindra Mojo but has been reworked on the outside to look like a classic bike engine. The bike has a unique twin exhaust from a single-cylinder motor, and Classic Legends has done a decent job in having the bike designed to bring that retro appeal on the road.

This bike primarily rivals the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350. The Jawa Forty Two which is more of a cafe racer theme has the same mechanical bits, but comes with different paint schemes and riders triangle.
