After successfully launching the Jaguar F-Pace in the Indian market, Jaguar Land Rover now announce that the order books for the Jaguar F-Pace SVR are now open. The brand has started accepting bookings for the performance-oriented F-Pace SVR (Special Vehicle Operations) SUV in the Indian market.
Powering the Jaguar F-Pace SVR is a 5.0-litre supercharged V-8-cylinder petrol engine that produces 543 Hp of power and 700 Nm of twisting force. Jaguar claims that the luxury SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds. The engine comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The powertrain features by Jaguar’s Electronic Vehicle Architecture and also features advanced transmission and dynamics systems. The brand has also tweaked the Dynamic mode feature, which now comes with a unique tuning, uprated to deliver a thrilling experience.
Boffins at Jaguar have also recalibrated the software to provide sharper throttle response, optimized steering response, stiffened the suspension set up, and enhanced the exhaust mapping. All the power also need to come to a safe halt. Therefore, Jaguar employs front and rear two-piece disc brakes with a new Integrated Power Booster, shorter brake pedal and recalibrated braking system for sportier and improved brake feel.
The Jaguar F-Pace SVR comes with a motorsport-inspired front apron and bonnet. The performance SUV features new apertures and vents that offer enhanced airflow and aerodynamic benefits. The aero ducts also improve engine and brake cooling on the SUV. The new grille comes with an SVR badge, and the front apron features an X-shape and blade-like elements. Flanking the grille are super-slim all-LED quad lights with ‘Double J’ Daytime Running Lights. The headlamps are also available in the Pixel LED technology as an option. The lights also come with Adaptive Driving Beam capability.
On the inside, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR features a comprehensively redesigned cabin with new materials, a revised cabin and its controls. The new SVR also comes with a unique Drive Selector with an enhanced performance-focused feel. The selector also gets dimples on the leather with heritage logo-inspired details and a debossed SVR logo. The SVR split-rim steering wheel also features the same leather. However, the inside of the steering features a unique Mars Red SVR stitch detail. The Jaguar F-Pace SVR features an 11.4-inch curved-glass HD touchscreen with a magnesium alloy casing and the new Pivi Pro infotainment. The SUV also gets a PM2.5 filtration with Nanoe technology.
