Hyundai could be planning to introduce the facelifted version of the Venue compact SUV soon in the Indian and international markets. The brand has been testing the facelift model in Korea under heavy camouflage, but spy images revealed details such as a new grille and taillights. Now, pictures of a test mule have appeared on the internet, which show that the brand is also testing the new Venue in the Indian market.
According to reports, the test mule of the new Venue was spotted in Chennai close to Hyundai’s production facility. This leads us to believe that the brand will be producing the new Hyundai Venue in India for domestic consumption as well as for sales in other developing markets. It is the first time that the development mule has appeared on the internet in India.
According to the reports, the Hyundai Venue is likely to come with a new front fascia and a new rear end. The front grille on the facelifted Venue could come with the new Parametric design grille. The brand is also likely to offer hidden DRLs integrated with the new grille similar to the Hyundai Tucson. On the rear, the new Venue could come with new design tail lamps along with a lightbar that connects the two taillamps.
One more interesting feature seen on the Venue test mule is a twin exhaust. This is typical of Hyundai’s N Line variants, and we could be looking at a future N Line Venue. Speculation is the SUV is likely to remain unchanged on the inside. But expect the brand to offer sporty red accents and mild changes to the equipment as well as upholstery on the N Line Variant. However, the engine configuration is likely to remain the same. The N Line variant may also come with a DCT automatic and an iMT intelligent manual transmission option.
