Is this the 2025 Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 or 650?

Written by News Team

Royal Enfield has sparked curiosity among motorcycle enthusiasts with the recent sightings of its upcoming Himalayan model in India. The bike, heavily camouflaged, has led to speculation about whether it is the 650cc or the 750cc variant.

What do the spyshots tell us?

The new Himalayan model that has been spied, features a round headlight, an extended windscreen, and a bulky fuel tank, similar to the design cues of the Himalayan 450. The bike also has integrated turn indicators and a high-mounted exhaust, which hints at its off-road capabilities.

The engine remains a mystery, but reports suggest it could be a bored-out version of the 648cc parallel-twin engine found in the Interceptor 650. This would mean the bike could produce around 50 horsepower. If it is indeed the 750cc variant, the power output could be higher.

The bike is equipped with a fully adjustable inverted fork setup at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. The braking setup includes twin front disc brakes and a single disc at the rear, enhancing its stopping power.

What Else could the Himalayan 750 get?

The instrument cluster features a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, offering features like Google Maps navigation and music controls. The bike also has a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheel setup, making it suitable for long-distance touring.

Royal Enfield is expected to launch the new Himalayan model by the end of 2025. The price is anticipated to be around INR 4 lakh to INR 4.2 lakh (ex-showroom). It will take on the bigger motorcycles in the segment.
