Indian Motorcycle reveals electric eFTR Hooligan

Indian Motorcycle has launched the new eFTR Hooligan 1.2 electric bike in the North American market. The brand has announced that the electric bicycle will come with a price tag of USD 3,999.99 MSRP. Recently the brand also launched the eFTR Youth Bikes, which comes with a price tag of USD 529.99 MSRP. While the eFTR Youth Bike is appropriate for ages 8+, the eFTR Hooligan is targeted towards full-size adults.

Indian Motorcycle reveals that the new eFTR Hooligan 1.2 has been developed in partnership with SUPER73. For the uninitiated, SUPER73 is an American lifestyle adventure brand and manufacturer of electric bicycles based in Orange County, California. The brand is known for producing custom bicycles for A-list celebrities and professional athletes. 

Indian Motorcycle eFTR Hooligan 1.2 – Design and Features

The eFTR Hooligan 1.2 is designed for recreational sports use or urban transportation. The e-bike comes with a moto-inspired design from Indian Motorcycle. The e-Bike gets upside-down front forks and mid-height handlebars. The bike also comes with FTR inspired wind deflector and aggressive tyres. The bike also comes with premium details such as a gold finish chain, custom seats and deleted fenders. The best part about the e-bike is it does not require a driving licence. 

Indian Motorcycle eFTR Hooligan 1.2 – Technical Specifications

Powering the eFTR Hooligan 1.2 is a 1.2kW (1200W) electric motor that offers pedal assist with a maximum speed of 28 Mph (45 kmph). The electric motor is coupled to a 960 Wh battery pack that offers a range of 75 miles (120 km Approx.) on a single charge. The e-bike weighs just 73 lbs (33 kg) and is capable of carrying 325 lbs (147 kg). The eFTR Hooligan 1.2 comes with LED front & rear lights, LCD instruments display, ride modes – Level 0 (no assist), Level 1 (Eco), Level 2 (Tour), Level 3 (Sport), Level 4 (Off-Road) and IoT connected features. The eFTR Hooligan 1.2 also comes with Tektro Hydraulic Disc brakes on the front and rear, as well as GRZLY 20-inch tyres.
