iF Design Award for Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, Santa Fe & Santa Fe XRT Concept

Hyundai Motor Company has announced that the brand has been awarded the iF Design Award for the 10th year in a row. This time around Hyundai Motor Company has received the iF Design Award for the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N and the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe in the Product category. In addition to this, the company has also received awards for the Santa Fe XRT Concept in the Professional Concepts class. Furthermore, Hyundai also received several iF Design Awards across multiple categories.

iF Design Award – Hyundai IONIQ 5 N

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N features a new segment of driver-centric high-performance electric vehicles. The N model comes with new technologies offering racetrack capabilities to the EV. The IONIQ 5 N is also Hyundai’s first step towards the brand’s N electrification strategy.

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N uses Hyundai’s E-GMP (Electric Global Modular Platform) which is the underpinnings of the standard IONIQ 5. It also combines with the brand’s N motorsport bred technologies to offer the ‘IONIQ 5 N’. The N technology has been developed using expertise from the company’s electrified ‘Rolling Labs’. This helps maximise the performance capabilities of the EV. The brand reveals that the IONIQ 5 N has set new benchmarks in the performance electric vehicle category. And, also IONIQ 5 N also won Top Gear’s 2024 Car of the Year Award.

iF Design Award – Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe XRT Concept

Hyundai introduced the fifth-generation Hyundai Santa Fe in 2023. The SUV is both city friendly and adventure ready and offers a terrace-like living space. This is thanks to its longer wheelbase and larger tailgate opening. Thanks to the Santa Fe’s longer wheelbase a three-row sitting is also available on the mid-size SUV.

The Santa Fe SUV made its debut 23 years ago and has been loved by millions of customers. Hyundai in 2023 also debuted the Santa Fe XRT Concept which is designed to cater to outdoor enthusiasts. The Santa Fe XRT Concept features a design that will ignite the ultimate adventure spirit in its customers. While the Santa Fe in its Calligraphy trim is designed to cate to premium urban lifestyle customer.

Th iF Design Awards are one of the top honours across the world and by winning multiple accolades, Hyundai has proven its global design competitiveness.
