Hyundai’s Digital Float initiative across rural India

Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched a new digital activity to promote the brand’s presence in semi urban and rural areas. Under the Digital Float initiative, a Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS would be taken to the customer’s doorstep for them to experience the product.

More Details of the Hyundai Digital Float

Hyundai has allocated 36 Digital Floats. These will cover 582 rural areas across 27 states pan India. The timeline for the same in the next two months. Under this, Hyundai will be better able to reach out to customers at both the tehsil and taluka levels. Such an initiative is also expected to generate interest in pre-owned cars as well. All things considered, the Digital Float is a phygital experience that can offer scheduling of test drives, booking new Hyundai cars, and delivering finance schemes to rural customers. To summarise, All this has been bundled in a simplified package to meet Hyundai’s visions of becoming a Lifetime Partner to their customers.

How the Hyundai Digital Float will roll-out

In the first phase, the Digital Floats will travel around the rural territories of Punjab and Haryana. Another key point is that these floats will offer customers the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS without the need to visit a showroom. Hence, prospective customers will be able to avail Hyundai’s Customer Experience as well.

Hyundai’s presence in India

Currently, there are 600 touch points across India. Further, Hyundai states that the Grand i10 NIOS has a 20 percent presence in rural markets. Most importantly, the CNG version has been quite popular.

The Digital Float is just one of the first digital initiatives by Hyundai. Subsequently, the Korean carmaker plans to launch more such drives in India.

Hyundai Exter : More Details

Hyundai is gearing up to launch the new Exter SUV in India. The small SUV has been revealed in teasers since quite some time now. The Exter will get a smart electric sunroof and a dual dash cam factory fitted. Hyundai has set 10th July, 2023 as the launch date of the car. The Hyundai Exter will go up against the likes of the Tata Punch. As a result, the Exter is likely to be positioned below the Venue SUV in the carmaker’s line-up.
