Over the years Hyundai has brought us new and bolder design in cars in comparison to other mid ranged car manufacturers. And it has definitely helped this Korean brand build its reputation in the market. Hyundai has already won the hearts of customers with its Value and reliability, so performance, style and luxury are its next logical targets. And this is exactly what Hyundai has done with the HCD-16 Vision G Coupe Concept, unveiled at the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art.
The Vision G Concept was designed in California, US, with the design team led by Christopher Chapman. The team has given the car a very elegant look. Clean straight lines yet shows subtle aggression. Unlike the overly designed sharp concept cars, The Vision G is a convincing concept of what a future Hyundai sports car could look like. If not a sports car, the upcoming Hyundai cars will definitely have a style and design spillover.
The Vision G is powered by the same engine that powers the Hyundai Genesis. A 5.0-litre V8 petrol engine, which produces 420 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 519 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. The front grill and the logo also looks like the one used on ‘Genesis’.
With ivory leather upholstery, gold and wooden overlays, the inside of the car looks classy and minimalist. It is equipped with a full digital screen media control which is first in its class.
Hyundai has definitely made a bold statement with the Vision G concept and Hyundai’s future definitely looks promising. Stakeholders take note!
