Hyundai Venue registers 33,000 bookings in 1 month

On 21st May 2019, Hyundai launched the much awaited compact-SUV, a first of its kind in the brand’s line-up and the Venue was reported to get 17,000 bookings in only a couple of days from its launch with more than 80,000 enquiries. Now the brand reveals that the Venue has received over 33,000 bookings with more than 2,00,000 enquiries for the Venue in one month. The Hyundai Venue has received an overwhelming response in the Hyundai car dealerships across the country and compact-SUV has a waiting period of around six to eight weeks depending on the model / variant.

The Hyundai venue is available in seven trims with three engine options including manual and automatic transmissions and the prices are given below:-

In the engine department, the Hyundai Venue comes with three options two petrol and one diesel:-

  • 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 83 PS of power and 114.7 Nm of torque coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission.
  • 1-0-litre Kappa T-GDI petrol engine producing 120 PS of power and 171.6 Nm of torque coupled to a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) & manual transmission.
  • 1.4-litre diesel engine that produces 90 PS of power and 219.6 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

In terms of safety, the Venue comes with 6 airbags, ESC / ESP and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), hill assist control, brake assist system and an ISOFIX child seat anchorage system.

In terms of competition, the compact-SUV is pitted against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon.
