South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai has rolled out India’s first connected compact-SUV off the production line, the Hyundai Venue. The first red coloured Hyundai Venue has rolled out of Hyundai’s production plant near Chennai, Tamil Nadu in India. For its segment, the Venue has over 33 new connected features. The Venue is the first car in the Hyundai line-up to introduce the split type headlight design language which has a bumper mounted headlight and a daytime running light above it sitting flush with the bonnet.
The Hyundai Venue has a chrome accented mesh grille on the front with projected headlamps on the bumper, and silver painted faux skid plate and silver trim on the lower air dam. The side profile has large wheel arches and 16-inch alloy wheels and the rear receives squared off tail lights in LED.
Talking about the interiors, the Hyundai Venue features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrated with Hyundai’s BlueLink technology, real-time traffic information, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto integration and an Arkamys sound system. Other features include an electric sunroof, cruise control, rear air-conditioning vents, cooled glove box, air-purifier, wireless charger, cornering lamps, etc.
The Venue also comes with a 3 years / unlimited kilometres warranty and 3 years roadside assistance (RSA).
The exterior dimensions of the car measure 3,995mm in length, 1,770mm in width and 1,590mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,500mm. The Venue is made out of 69% Advanced High Strength Steel plus High Strength Steel.
The car comes in two petrol options and one diesel option.

In terms of safety, the Hyundai Venue comes with 6 airbags, ESC / ESP and Vehicle Stability Management, hill assist control and brake assist system. Hyundai Venue also offers an ISOFIX child seat.
The Hyundai Venue in India is expected to range between INR 8 lakh and INR 12 lakh ex-showroom. The Venue is set to launch on 21st of May 2019 in India and will compete with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon.
