Hyundai has launched the much-awaited Venue compact-SUV in India. The car comes in three engine options, two petrol engines and one diesel engine. The Hyundai Venue is offered in six trims, namely – E, S, SX, SX Dual Tone, SX+ and SX(O). The Venue is priced starting at INR 6.5 lakh ex-showroom, India. The prices on the car are introductory and are likely to increase in the coming months.
On the exterior, the car gets a cascading grille with chrome accents, LED daytime running lights, cube-shaped headlamps with projectors, alloy wheels, body cladding, roof rails, faux skid plates and squared off LED tail lights. The venue comes in with features like power steering, air-conditioning, front power windows, and a 12v socket starting from the base variant. The high-spec variant on the Hyundai Venue features BlueLink connectivity, automatic climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, diamond cut alloy wheels and more.

The variant wise options have been covered in an earlier report and the Hyundai Venue in terms of safety gets dual front airbags, ABS and rear parking sensors as a standard part of the pack across all the trims. The top end variant gets 6-airbags, ESC (on automatic variants).
The Hyundai Venue rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon.
