Hyundai India is looking at introducing new Editions of the popular Creta and Alcazar SUVs. Dubbed as the Adventure Edition, the Korean carmaker has now released a teaser image of the same. From this teaser, we can make out a few details.
Hyundai Creta and Alcazar : Adventure Edition
It can be seen that there are some visual changes in the Adventure Edition as compared to the normal car. These special edition units gets a fender badge with Adventure logo, black alloys, red brake callipers and black front grille. The Hyundai logo is blacked out as well. It is also said that the Adventure Edition will get a new exterior colour – Ranger Khaki.
On the inside, Hyundai might offer all-black upholstery and theme. There could be contrast stitching as well. Meanwhile, the headrests and the door sills could come with the Adventure logo.
No mechanical changes expected
The Adventure Edition will use the same powertrains as before. In the Creta, Hyundai offers 1.5-litre petrol and diesel mills while the Alcazar comes with a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol. We can expect both manual and automatic transmission options to be paired to these.
Hyundai Creta Facelift : More Details
Hyundai is currently conducting extensive testing on the facelifted version of its popular midsize SUV, the Creta. While the heavily camouflaged spy shots don’t reveal many details. But they suggest that the Creta facelift will feature similar styling cues. This includes an H-patterned design for the lights, seen in the newly launched Exter and upcoming Santa Fe models.
The facelifted Creta is likely to have a vertical headlamp cluster with split units. It will also get Palisade-inspired daytime running lamps. Spy shots have indicated an all-new grille with square-like detailing. Thus resembling the Palisade. The test mules also suggest redesigned alloy wheels, similar to those on the Alcazar. Changes to the tailgate, bumper, and taillights might also come.
