Hyundai has introduced the new Inster Cross electric SUV which is an outdoor-focussed electric vehicle for the international market. The brand has revealed that the Inster Cross EV will come with special bumpers and skid plates giving it a rugged look. The electric SUV also features unique 17-inch alloy wheels as well as embossed black side claddings. In addition to this, the Inster Cross also get roof racks which offer the option to mount a roof basket.
The Hyundai Inster Cross is positioned between the A and B-segment SUVs and offers enhanced practicality, maneuverability and flexibility to the user. The crossover SUV features a distinct adventure-focussed design on the exteriors with embossed side claddings and front & rear skid plates. In addition to this, the Inster Cross also gets 17-inch alloy wheels with a unique multifaceted design that claims to offer extra protection over rough roads. Also, the Inster Cross will come with a roof basket to transport gear for your camping trips. The exterior also comes with an exclusive exterior colour – Amazonas Green Matte. This is in addition to the colourways available on the Inster that are Atlas White, Unbleached Ivory, Aero Silver Matte, Abyss Black Pearl, and Tomboy Khaki.
On the inside, the Inster Cross gets a special grey cloth with lime-yellow accents. The unique trim also comes with lime-yellow accents on the dashboard. The Inster Cross also gets flat folding front seats offering a walk-through access in the front row and 50/50 split second-row seats with a slide and recline function offering a lot if versatility. In addition to this, the SUV also comes with an advanced ADAS package that includes Highway Driving Assist 1.5, Smart Cruise Control, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 1.5.
Hyundai has also announced that the production of the Inster Cross will commence later this year, and the crossover model will soon be available in the international market. The brand also revealed that the Inster Cross EV will come with a battery pack large enough to offer an all-electric range of 360 km on a single charge and 10% to 80% SOC can be achieved in just 30 minutes on a fast charger.
