Hyundai launches new brand campaign showcasing Santro, Grand i10 NIOS & Aura

Hyundai Motors India Limited has launched a new brand campaign “Smart Cars for Smart India” for the Hyundai Santro, Grand i10 NIOS and the Aura. The new brand campaign is targetted towards tech-savvy Indian millennials offering them a choice from a wide variety of powertrain options and fuel options. The brand campaign has been designed to showcase Hyundai’s best-in-segment features such as Stylish Projector Headlamps, Touch Screen Infotainment System and Wireless Charging to name a few. The campaign also showcases how Hyundai cars are the smartest choice for the customer and how they conform to the highest standards of safety, design, style, quality, technology and performance.

The brand campaign is scheduled to run for a month and will be aired across multiple channels such as TV, Print, Radio, Digital, CRM and Dealer POS. The point of sales is also expected to focus on the product offerings which includes a variety of BS 6 powertrain choices like the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol with CNG Dual-Fuel option, 1.2-litre ecotorq diesel engine, a 1.0-litre direct-injection turbo petrol and 1.1-litre petrol with CNG option. The engine options are equipped with Manual Transmission & AMT transmission options.

With respect to features, the most affordable in the line-up, the Hyundai Santro comes with highlights such as a new contemporary look with tall-boy design and high front and rear headspace, high seating position, dual-tone Beige & Black interiors with champagne Gold inserts, rear air-conditioning vents, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, driver airbags and ABS. The Santro is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.1-litre four-cylinder, 12-valve/3 valves per cylinder SOHC petrol engine that makes 69 PS of power and 99 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional AMT gearbox. The car also comes in a bi-fuel CNG version which makes 59 ps of power and 84.3 Nm of torque. 

The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS features projector headlamps and fog lamps, stylish alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, Red & Blue interior colour packs, increased wheelbase for spacious interiors, rear AC vents, 5.3-inch digital speedometer, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment with navigation, Arkamys premium sound with multiple speakers, Wireless Smartphone Charging etc. Safety features include 65% strong body structure Advanced High Strength Steel+High Strength Steel (AHSS+HSS), Dual Airbags and ABS as standard, Eco coating technology, Emergency stop signal etc. The Grand i10 NIOS is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine that makes 75 PS of power and 190 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox, a BS6 emission-compliant naturally-aspirated 1.2-litre four-cylinder, Kappa series engine that produces 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque married to a 5-speed manual or an optional AMT automatic transmission with Bi-Fuel (petrol+CNG) option and a BS6 emission compliant 1.0-litre three-cylinder in-line Turbo-Gasoline Direct Injection (T-GDi) (turbo-petrol) engine that produces 100 PS of power and 171.6 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The compact sedan Hyundai Aura features a contemporary front end design with swept-back projector headlamps, a unique rear design, premium interiors with bronze colour inserts, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Smartphone connectivity and Arkamys premium sound system, 5.3-inch digital speedometer with multi-information display, wireless charging and Petrol, Petrol-CNG and Diesel engine options available in both manual and AMT gearbox. The Aura is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque, 1.2-litre Ecotorq diesel engine that makes 75 PS of power and 188 Nm of torque and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol that makes 100 PS of power and 171.6 Nm of torque. Engines are matched to a 5-speed manual and AMT options.
