Hyundai India has launched the CNG version of the Grand i10 Nios in the top-end ‘Asta’ variant. Earlier, the CNG version of the Grand i10 Nios was only available in two variants – Magna and Sportz. Customers can now opt for the bi-fuel version of the vehicle while also getting all the features of the top-end variant.
The new Grand i10 Nios CNG Asta is now available and will cost INR 8.45 lakh ex-showroom. Pricing for the CNG models starts at INR 7.16 lakh ex-showroom for the Magna variant. Meanwhile, the Sportz variant now slots between the Magna and Asta variants and costs INR 7.70 lakh ex-showroom.
The new top-spec trim adds a host of features. These include 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a rear wiper and washer and projector headlamps and segment-first projector foglamps. The top-end variant also adds chrome outside door handles.
On the inside, the car features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display which also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other highlights include wireless charging, a cooled glove box, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, adjustable rear headrests and an engine start/stop button.
Powering the CNG version of the Grand i10 Nios is the 1.2-litre Kappa Dual VTVT engine. The engine makes 83 PS and 116 Nm of torque in petrol mode. At the same time, in CNG mode, it delivers 69 PS and 97 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The Grand i10 Nios CNG is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The South Korean carmaker recently unveiled new 6th and 7th-year extended warranty options for its petrol-powered cars. The new extended warranty options are available for new as well existing customers. However, to avail of the new extended warranty options, customers must purchase it before their current standard/extended warranty expires.
