Hyundai hikes prices up to Rs. 25,000

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), the country’s largest passenger car exporter and second largest car manufacturer announced that it will be increasing the prices across all its models in the month of Jan 2015.

The company has announced a price increase across all models in the range of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 25,000 which will be effective from Jan 2015. This price hike is a result of the rising input costs.

Hyundai currently has ten car models across segments – Eon, Santro, i10, Grandi10, i20, Xcent, Verna, Elantra, Sonata and Santa Fe.

New launches for next year include the Verna facelift, Elite i20 Cross, ix25 SUV, Eon facelift and Sonata facelift.
