Soon after launching their BMW 7-series rival, Hyundai’s luxury brand Gensis is ready to engage in a big fight by readying a rival to Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Limousine.
Basically an extended wheel base version of the G90, this product currently undergoing tests is aimed to compete the ‘ultra luxury class’ market.
The undisguised test mule of the limousine was recently spotted in Germany. Looking at the pictures, the car looks to be a derivative of the G90 with an extended wheel base, thicker B-pillar (for more structural strength) & longer rear doors for wide opening and easy access.
No details are available about the interior though. But it is believed to be based on the G90 with more add on’s such as individual pilot seats with features such as massaging seats, chilled mini bar etc.
Mechanically the car is expected to carry over the same engines from the G90 that include a V6 & V8 with 8-speed automatic gearbox and optional four wheel drive system.
Also, the G90 premium luxury sedan will go on sale in Korea as EQ900 soon.
