Hyundai Creta EV is all set to make its debut at Bharat Mobility Expo on Jan 17, 2025. It has undergone some minor adjustments, such as an alloy wheel supported with aerodynamics and a blanked-off grille. Apart from this, the Creta EV is anticipated to have the same design as the ICE version. The prices are expected to start from INR 20 lakh ex-showroom.
The Tata Curvv.ev, Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, and MG ZS EV are believed to be the competitors of the Hyundai Creta EV. The powertrain is yet to be disclosed by the company. However, let’s see what features are going to be offered by it.
Many spy shots of the Creta EV have indicated that it will take many design cues from its ICE-powered counterpart. However, the official photos are still pending. From all these, we could gather the information that it will have connected LED DRLs, connected LED tail lights, and a vertically stacked headlight arrangement, among other features.
When talking about the interiors, we can source it from the spy shots that it will have a dual-screen dashboard and a dual-tone interior. It is also anticipated to have a three-spoke steering wheel with a drive selector lever behind it.
The dashboard screens are most likely to be 10.25 inches. It’s also likely to have other features like a wireless phone charger, dual-zone auto air conditioning, a panoramic sunroof, and powered and ventilated front seats. EV-specific capabilities like multi-level regenerative braking and vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging are anticipated.
In the safety feature area, it will have Six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and an Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite. This ADAS will feature features like adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist.
