The Hyundai Creta in the Indian market has crossed the 1 Million Sales milestone. Since its launch in 2015, the Hyundai Creta has been setting industry benchmarks and has been one of the most popular SUV in its segment. Even in its latest avatar, the Creta has received 60 000 plus bookings within one month of launch. This shows its popularity in the Indian market. The brand sells 1 Creta every 5 minutes claiming to be the bestselling mid-size SUV in India. While Hyundai has sold over 10 lakh units of the Creta in the Indian market, the SUVs exports also remain strong with over 2.80 lakh units.
The new Hyundai Creta comes with a starting price tag of INR 11 lakh ex-showroom. The top-spec fully-loaded variant comes with a price tag of INR 20 lakh ex-showroom. The brand offers a total of 7 variants on the new Creta. In addition to this, the brand also offers three engine variants and five gearbox options on the new Creta. It is important to note, that the price mentioned above is the introductory price on the New Hyundai Creta.
The Hyundai Creta has continuously evolved in the Indian market. The brand has been working on the Creta’s design performance, technology as well as safety continuously. The latest Creta is the result of the evolution and comes with new segment defining features including advanced steel structures and Level 2 ADAS. The Creta also comes with new exteriors and interiors with All LED lighting on the outside and a curvilinear twin screen on the inside. Hyundai also offers the new Creta with ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof.
The Creta comes with a 1.5-litre Mpi Petrol engine, a 1.5-litre T-GDi (turbo-petrol) engine and a 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine. The engines come with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission and intelligent Variable Transmission for the 1.5-litre MPi engine. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol gets a 7-Speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). And the 1.5-litre diesel engine comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed Automatic gearbox option.
