Hyundai has disrupted the mid-size SUV segment in India with the launch of its all-new Hyundai Creta and despite the lockdown associated with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that brand managed to register 20,000 bookings amidst the pandemic when Hyundai announced the starting price on the SUV which is INR 9.99 lakh ex-showroom.
Fast forward a few weeks, the Hyundai Creta topped the sales chart and regained its position as the top-selling SUV in India from its cousin the Kia Seltos. With ‘Unlock 1.0’ in May 2020 the brand announced that it had bagged over 30,000 bookings since its launch in India and the Creta’s marketing campaign garnered over 258 million media impressions, since March 2020 and over 19.5 million TVC views.
Now Hyundai Motors India Limited has announced that the company has recorded over 55,000 Bookings and over 20,000 units of the Creta SUV have been delivered in just 4 months of its market introduction. A major chunk of sales, nearly three-fourth, is from the brand’s new contactless digital sales platform, ‘Click to Buy’. The online platform has registered more than 1.5 Million visitors and more than 20,000 enquiries since its launch in March 2020, reported a few weeks ago.
The second-generation Hyundai Creta is available with three powertrain options including multiple choices on the gearbox and a vast range of trim variant as well as 10 exterior paint options. The Hyundai Creta is powered by both petrol and diesel engines that are both BS6 emission compliant.

The new Hyundai Creta also comes with 14 variant options spread across 5 trim levels – [E, EX, S, SX, SX(O)] and eight single tone colours – Polar White, Phantom Black, Typhoon Silver, Lava Orange, Titan Grey, Deep Forest, Galaxy Blue, Mulberry Red and two dual-tone themes – Polar White with Phantom Black and Lava Orange with Phantom Black.
