Hyundai Alcazar SUV bags 11,000 bookings in a month

Hyundai has announced that the brand has bagged more than 11,000 bookings in the first month since the company opened the order books. Since its launch, the brand has already sold more than 5,600 units of the Hyundai Alcazar in both the 6-/7-seater variation. In addition to this, Hyundai also revealed that the diesel powertrain iteration contributed to 63% of the bookings. Also, the top-of-the-line Signature variant constitutes One-Third of the bookings. 

Hyundai Alcazar – Price and Variants

The Hyundai Alcazar is offered in three variants with 6-seat and 7-seat options. The three variants are Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The Hyundai Alcazar in the Prestige variant starts at INR16.30 lakh ex-showroom, and the top-of-the-line Signature variant comes with a starting price of INR 18.80 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to INR 20.00 lakh ex-showroom for the fully-loaded trim. 

Hyundai Alcazar – Engine Specifications

Hyundai offers the Alcazar with two engines and two gearbox options. Powering the Alcazar is a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine. The oil motor churns out 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The second option is a 2.0-litre petrol engine that belts out 159 PS of power and 191 Nm of torque. Both the engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission and a torque converter type 6-speed automatic gearbox. 

Hyundai Alcazar – Dimension and Colours

The Hyundai Alcazar measures 4,500mm in length, 1,790mm in width and 1,675mm in height. The SUV comes with a wheelbase of 2,760mm, offering roomier cabin space. The Alcazar also gets 180-litres of boot space with all the seats in the upright position. On the exterior, Hyundai is offering six paint options. These include Polar White, Phantom Black, Starry Night, Titan Grey, Taiga Brown, and Typhoon Silver exterior colour options. On the inside, the Alcazar comes with a Premium Dual Tone Cognac Brown theme.

Hyundai Alcazar – Top Features

Hyundai Alcazar comes with features such as Triple-LED projector headlamps and combination LED taillamps. The SUV also comes with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with a diamond-cut design, blackout pillars and chrome appliques. The Alcazar gets ventilated front row seats, a power-adjustable driver seat, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 8-speaker Bose Premium Sound System and Advanced Hyundai Blue Link, a 10.25-inch Multi-Display Digital Instruments Cluster, Auto Healthy Air Purifier with AQI Display, 64 Colors Ambient Lighting and Puddle Lamps, Voice-Enabled Smart Panoramic Sunroof etc.
