Hyundai Alcazar facelift will arrive in 2024

Written by Nizam Shaikh

Hyundai could be planning to introduce the Alcazar facelift in the coming months. The Alcazar is essentially a three-row Creta and shares some of the mechanicals as well as the interiors from the Creta. Therefore, we speculate that the new Alcazar is likely to come with the design language similar to the facelift Creta which is making great progress in terms of sales in the Indian market.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift – Design and Features

The facelift Hyundai Alcazar is likely to come with a new front and rear fascia. This might include a new grille and bumper which is inline with the Creta design. However, the brand is likely to offer subtle distinguishing factors on both the front and rear of the three-row SUV.

On the inside, the Alcazar facelift is likely to come with a similar dashboard which is now being offered on the facelift Creta. This means a twin curvilinear screen for the 2024 Alcazar could be in order. The brand is also likely to offer a Level 2 ADAS suite and multiple airbags for safety.

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar facelift could also get new features such as ventilated seats in the front row. Top-spec models could also come with ventilated captain seats and a multifunctional centre armrest. However, the seating arrangements on the new Alcazar are likely to remain the same. Hyundai may also offer the dual-zone automatic climate control from the facelift Creta on the Alcazar in 2024.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift – Competition

In the Indian market, the Hyundai Alcazar rivals the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, the Tata Safari and the MG Hector Plus. The brand positions the Alcazar above the Creta and below the Tucson. The facelift is likely to come with a number of more features, so expect a premium on its price too. Also, the engine line-up of the Alcazar is likely to remain the same to balance the economies of scale.
