One more to join the party in the quarter litre sportsbike segment in India. The Hyosung GD250R is expected to hit the Indian streets towards the end of 2015.
Based on the upcoming GD250N, the GD250R is nothing but the same bike but with full fairing. Hyosung wants to target those with a smaller budget who cannot afford the GT250R with the GD250R.
Powering the GD250R motorcycle should be a 249cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor which was good for producing 27.6 BHP of power @ 9,500 RPM and 24 Nm of torque @ 7,000 RPM mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is built on a trellis frame and alloy swingarm.

Expect the price to be in the range of Rs. 2 lakh. Primary competitors when launched will be the Honda CBR300R, Hero MotoCorp HX250R, Yamaha YZF-R25 and KTM RC200.
