KTM-owned motorcycle manufacturer, Husqvarna has unveiled a new electric scooter. The new concept electric scooter, Vektorr follows the recent unveiling of the Husqvarna E-Pilen Concept electric motorcycle. The Husqvarna Vektorr is the brand’s first electric scooter concept. With the new electric range of motorcycle and scooter, Husqvarna aims to eco-friendly personal urban transport solutions and bring the future to the present.
Husqvarna aims the Vektorr electric scooter towards the urban commuters. The clientele requires compact, effective and stylish transport solutions to traverse in the urban jungle. The Husqvarna Vektorr offers a top speed of 45 km/h and a range of 95 km on a single charge. The speed and range are quite apt for moving about within the city, take the electric scooter out for chores or the daily commute to the office. The Vektorr is also styled like a conventional scooter and also claims to ride like a regular scooter, as well.
The Vektorr features signature Husqvarna styling and comes with a rounded headlamp unit and sharp bodywork. The design language is similar to other Husqvarna motorcycles and makes the e-scooter stand out from the crowd. The Husqvarna Vektorr comes with an imposing front fascia with a combination of rounded and geometric structures. The side panels come with eccentric styling that gives a boxy look to the scooter. The scooter also gets short fenders, a straight bench seat and is likely to come with a fully digital instruments display. The e-scooter also comes with large alloy wheels and disc brakes.
Husqvarna has also announced that the Vektorr will be on display at the special exhibition in the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen, Austria. Customers will be able to catch a glimpse of the brand’s first electric scooter at the exhibition.
Husqvarna also unveiled the E-Pilen concept which comes with an 8 kW power unit. The brand also revealed that the E-Pilen will deliver a range of 100 km per charge. The Husqvarna E-Pilen will also come with a swappable battery pack that extends the range and reduces range anxiety.
