Hornet 2.0 & Dio Repsol Honda editions launched in India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has announced that the brand is building the Honda’s racing DNA into its street riding range of motorcycle and scooter by launching the ‘Repsol Honda’ limited editions of the Honda Hornet 2.0 motorcycle and Honda Dio motorscooter. The Hornet 2.0 Repsol Honda Edition is priced at INR 1,28,351 ex-showroom, Gurgaon and the Dio Repsol Honda Edition is priced at INR 69,757 ex-showroom, Gurgaon. 

The Repsol Honda Limited Edition Hornet 2.0 and the Dio feature a Repsol Honda racing team-inspired graphics and design theme of the Honda Repsol team’s MotoGP bike RC213V and come with vibrant orange wheel rims completing the package. Both the Limited Edition Repsol Honda Hornet 2.0 and Dio features only cosmetic changes and there are no changes to the engine or the cycle parts. 

The Honda Hornet 2.0 is powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 184.4cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with 8 onboard sensors and a Programmed Fuel-Injection system that generates 17 Hp of power and 16.1 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. The Honda Hornet 2.0 features geometric LED headlamp, LEd turn indicators, LED tail lamp, a pod-style instrument cluster with fully digital negative LCD display, Gear Position Indicator, Service Due Indicator, Battery Voltmeter etc. The Hornet 2.0 also feature Golden upside-down front fork suspension and petal disc brakes. 

The Honda Dio is powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 109.51cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke air/fan-cooled engine with PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) fuel injection and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) that helps produce 7.6 bhp of power and 8.79 Nm of torque coupled to an automatic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Honda Dio features ACG starter, LED headlamp, LED daytime running lamp, fully digital meter with range, average fuel efficiency, realtime fuel efficiency, total trip, clock and service due indicator and On-Board Diagnostic with malfunction light. The Dio also comes with telescopic front suspension, engine Start/Stop switch, integrated dual function switch for external fuel lid and storage compartment, side stand indicator with engine cut-off for safety. 

The brand has announced that the new Limited Edition Repsol Honda Hornet 2.0 and Dio will be available starting this week, across all Honda 2Wheelers India dealerships.
