Hop Electric Mobility expands its reach to new regions. The company recently added ten new experience centres and inaugurated them on Republic Day. With this, Hop Electric now has 54 exclusive experience centres across 12 states. The EV maker aims to expand its presence to over 300+ cities by the end of 2022. Hop Electric Mobility entered the market with two products, namely Leo and Lyf. Furthermore, the company is preparing itself for the launch of a new electric motorcycle named Oxo. Hop Electric Mobility will give a generation update to the Lyf.
Given the rising demand for electric vehicles in the country, Hop Electric aims to make the most out of it. Keeping this in mind, Hop Electric will soon launch its third offering for the Indian market. Oxo, is a high-speed electric motorcycle that has been developed indigenously. With this, after the successful stint of the 1st generation Lyf, Hop Electric Mobility will give it a generation update. The company has mentioned that the 2nd generation Lyf will arrive in the next 2 months.
The EV makers currently sell both electric scooters and motorcycles. All the models get a wide range of safety features. This includes automatic parking assistance, reverse gear for an easy park, outside stand sensor, USB charging, remote key, anti-theft alarm, and anti-theft wheel lock attributes. Alongside all these, the scooters also get internet and GPS connectivity.
Given the proliferation of EVs in the market, a viable charging infrastructure is much needed. Hop Electric mobility is planning to come up with a built-in battery swapping cum charging station. This will help aid the customers to replace their discharged battery with a fully charged battery in just 30 seconds. Currently, this setup is at its testing phase
