HOP Electric Mobility reveals OXO motorbike during beta-testing program

Hop Electric Mobility, one of the emerging EV makers in the country, has revealed the complete look of its upcoming electric motorcycle. Named Oxo, this electric motorcycle is one of the highly anticipated launches for Hop Electric Mobility. Currently, the motorcycle is under a closed-loop beta-testing program #OXOSNEAKPEEK with selected dealer partners across the country.

This is a great initiative taken up by Hop to extend the testing program to their dealers and consumers to gain valuable insights. The EV maker mentioned that they would closely monitor this trial and testing under the supervision of Hop’s R&D team. Incorporating dealers and customers in this trial will help the company understand the customers’ requirements, thus bringing in a more personalised approach to their future products.

What Can We Expect From Oxo?

As per Hop, this bike will perfectly match the EV maker’s vision to offer best-in-class, ecologically sound and affordable transportation facilities. Hop has confirmed that the motorcycle will have the capability of reaching a top speed of 100 kmph. In terms of riding range, riders can expect a single charge mileage of 150 km, which is quite appreciable.

Under the #OXOSNEAKPEEK program, Hop says they conducted more than 30,000 km of internal on-road testing across India. This testing covered 20 major cities across the country. This includes Jaipur, Jodhpur, Patna, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Ludhiana and more. All these data will help better the product and fulfil the expectation of the customers as per their needs.

The Road Ahead For Hop Mobility

Given the rising demand for EVs in the market, Hop is increasingly expanding its dealership network. Recently the EV maker launched a state-of-art HOP Megaplex in Jaipur, that aims at educating people about EVs and their advantages. The current lineup of products from Hop Mobility includes Leo and Lyf. And soon, Oxo and the upgraded version of Lyf will join in. As of today, the brand has extended its manufacturing capabilities up to 1.80 lakh units per year. This perfectly matches the central government’s push for ‘Make in India’ initiative. The plan for the next three years is to launch at least 10 new products.
