Honda WR-V with 211 BHP, but not in India

Honda’s WR-V is not a successful model only in India, but this crossover is doing rather well in global markets as well. Based on the Honda Jazz, the WR-V has now received a souped up variant in Brazil. This is just a Pace Car shown during IndyCar and not really a production model which will be launched officially. Still, modification goals put into perspective.

This Honda WR-V Pace Car gets plenty of changes. It is seen in a red+white+black livery with sporty bumpers, new front grille, large rear spoiler, new black alloy wheels, sport seats, smoked headlamp & tail lamp, larger disc brakes, lowered suspension, new exhaust system, and the likes.

The biggest change as we all can guess is under the hood. The WR-V Pace Car is plonked with a turbocharged 1.5L, V-tec petrol motor producing 165 BHP of power which can be further tuned to deliver 211 BHP and the torque output is now at 190 Nm. The engine remains matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

In India, the WR-V comes powered with a 1.2L 90 HP petrol and 1.5L 100 HP diesel engine options.
