Honda sold 9,543 cars in Oct 2022

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has released its sales report for October 2022. The company registered monthly domestic sales of 9,543 units in Oct ’22. The growth figure stands at 18 percent over the corresponding month last year. The export numbers for HCIL stood at 1,678 units for the given period. For your reference, the company registered 8,108 units in domestic sales and exported 1,747 units on October 21.

This festive season has been remarkable for Honda as witnessed a healthy growth of 18 percent in our domestic sales in Oct. Its dealer network too has been buzzing with activity during this period, witnessing strong demand for all the Honda models. Owning to the strong popularity of the family sedan, Honda Amaze was the top seller of customers for festive purchases. In fact, the model clocked exceptional sales with the No.1 contribution in our line-up. Honda mentioned that the improvement on the supply side also benefited them to realize this result. Honda is also celebrating 25 years of success with the Honda City this quarter.

New WR-V Launched In Indonesia

Honda has finally taken the wraps off the all-new WR-V for the Indonesian market. The new model is based on the Honda Concept RS SUV that was showcased back in 2021.

The second-generation WR-V measures 4,060 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, and 1,608 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,485 mm. The crossover offers a ground clearance of 220 mm and has a 380-liter boot, thus perfectly fitting the current SUV demands of Indian customers.

The new WR-V carries Honda’s latest design trend. The equipped wide hexagonal grille with chrome inserts matched perfectly with the sweptback LED headlamps at the front. While the rear gets L-shaped LED tail lamps. The WR-V uses all-black interiors with a conventional twin-dial instrument cluster. The car comes with a Honda Sensing safety suit. This includes features like Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigation, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lead Car Departure Notification, and Auto High Beam.

In Indonesia, the WR-V uses the 1.5-liter petrol engine that makes 119 BHP at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. The engine has two gearbox options, a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic.
