Honda sold 5,26,998 two-wheelers in September 2023

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has disclosed its sales performance for September 2023, and the results are impressive. This month, HMSI achieved remarkable sales, surpassing the 500,000 unit mark, representing its highest sales figure for the fiscal year 2023–24. Furthermore, the company has reported a 2 per cent year-over-year growth in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year.

HMSI managed to sell 526,998 units in September, with a majority of 491,802 units sold in the domestic market. In addition to the solid domestic sales, HMSI has experienced an outstanding 19% growth in exports, with 35,196 units being shipped to international markets in September 2023.

During the same month, HMSI introduced the updated Gold Wing Tour and initiated bookings for this model. The brand also unveiled various other products in the same time frame, including the Activa Limited Edition, SP125 Sports Edition, Repsol Editions of the Hornet 2.0, and Dio 125. Furthermore, the company introduced OBD-2-compliant versions of the CB300F and CB200X, demonstrating a commitment to technological advancements and meeting the latest compliance standards.
