Honda sold 3,38,310 two-wheelers in July 2023

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) reported strong sales numbers for July 2023. The total sales reached 3,38,310 units. The figure breaks down to 3,10,867 units for the domestic market and 27,443 units for exports.

Key Highlights Of HMSI In July 2023

In July 2023, HMSI introduced the all-new Dio 125 in India. Thus, offering a sporty, advanced, and convenient option for customers in the two-wheeler market.

As part of its network expansion efforts, HMSI inaugurated a BigWing dealership in Cuttack, Odisha. This further elevates the #GoRidin spirit. Additionally, the company expanded its presence in Bihar with the inauguration of a new RedWing dealership in Purnia.

In an attempt to promote road safety awareness across the country, HMSI conducted awareness campaigns. This happened across six different cities, namely Udaipur (Rajasthan), Sehore (Madhya Pradesh), Wayanad (Kerala), Ramgarh (Jharkhand), Umden (Meghalaya), and Chandigarh. The company also celebrated the 7th anniversary of its Traffic Training Park in Ludhiana, Punjab, further contributing to road safety initiatives.

In the domain of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Honda India Foundation (HIF) launched its flagship program called Project Pragati (One Step towards Growth) in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and Pune, Maharashtra. The program aims to support economically disadvantaged youth by providing them with training for their livelihood and fostering the development of a sustainable society.

On the motorsports front, IDEMITSU Honda Racing India’s Kavin Quintal, AS James, and Prakash Kamat secured the top three positions in Race 1 of the IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup NSF 250R Open class Round 2. Shyam Sundar claimed his first victory of the 2023 season in Race 2 of the category, followed by AS James in second place and Raheesh Khatri in third position.
