Honda reveals Hawk 11 specifications, 100 BHP & 104 Nm

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Honda has officially revealed the specification of its Hawk 11. The motorcycle first made its mark at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in Japan in March. The bike’s muscular tank and long exhaust with an ample amount of chrome touch make it a head-turner for sure. This cafe racer from Honda looks quite scintillating and will match the younger generation’s taste.

Mechanical Details

Powering the motorcycle is a 1,082 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor. The performance figure reads at 100 Bhp of power and 104 Nm of torque. This is the same motor we see with the Africa Twin and the NT1100. Riders get a 6-speed gearbox unit. To excite things, Honda is also offering four different riding modes, namely Sport, Standard, Rain, and one user-selectable mode. The user-selectable one allows the rider to tweak the setup of the motorcycle as per their preference. In the safety department, the Hawk 11 also benefits from the Honda Selectable Torque Control and ABS.

More Of Hawk 11

The motorcycle’s semi-double-cradle frame gets the support of a Showa Big Piston fork at the front and a linked mono-shock at the rear. Braking power comes from a dual front disc setup at the front and a single rear disc at the rear. The equipped dual-channel ABS enhances safety. With a kerb weight of 214 kg and 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres, give the motorcycle a striking stance.

Colour, Price and India Availability

Customers will get two colour options to choose from. These are Pearl Hawks Eye Blue and Graphite Black. In the Japanese market, Hawk 11 is set at a price of JPY 13,97,000, which is close to INR 8.44 lakh, excluding all the taxes. As far as the India launch is concerned, we do not have any official confirmation regarding the same. Thus we understand that Honda will most likely not launch the Hawk 11 for the Indian market. We are currently witnessing a surge in the number of cafe racer motorcycles in the country. And if Honda decides to bring in the Hawk 11, it will definitely make an impact in the market.
