Honda has announced mega savings across all their cars on sale in India. Under ‘The Great Honda Fest’ heading in to the festive season of 2019, Honda is offering benefits to potential car buyers till the 30th of September, 2019. Customers can get cash discounts, free extended warranty and benefits on the Honda Care maintenance program along with exchange bonus for their old Honda cars. Honda is also offering loyalty bonus for existing Honda customers.
Honda will also be offering up to 100% on-road finance and low EMI packages to make the deals more attractive.
Benefits are in the tune of up to INR 4 lakh on the Honda CR-V, INR 2.5 lakh for the Honda Civic, up to INR 1.1 lakh for the BR-V, INR 62,000 for the City sedan, INR 45,000 for the WR-V, INR 50,000 for the Jazz hatchback and INR 42,000 on the Amaze compact-sedan.
Honda has cancelled plans to launch the HR-V SUV for India. The HR-V could have been a rival to the likes of Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos; but since the HR-V globally is nearly reaching the end of its life cycle and the localisation was very limited in India which could have resulted in a high price tag. Keeping this in mind, Honda might turn up with a new product altogether for the Indian SUV lovers.
The Honda Civic is the most recent launch for the Japanese car brand in India. The Civic rivals the likes of Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla Altis. The major sales volumes products for Honda in India include the Jazz hatchback, the WR-V crossover, the Amaze compact-sedan and the City sedan. All other cars apart from these don’t really sell in huge numbers.
