Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has recently patented different product designs. This includes the design patent of the NT1100 tourer motorcycle as well. It is a GT motorcycle that is already on sale in the European market.
Speaking of the NT1100, it embraces a sharp design with adventure-tourer styling. The front design has a sleek headlight setup with long-travel suspension and a big windscreen. Beside the big side fairing hides a powerful 1,804cc parallel-twin engine that makes 100 bhp and 116 Nm of peak power and torque output. It is mated to a DCT automatic gearbox for quick performance and ease of riding.
The hardware includes an electrically adjustable Showa front suspension and a monoshock at the rear. It sits on 17-inch alloy wheels that get disc brakes and dual-channel ABS as standard. Additionally, it has features like cornering ABS, ride modes, traction control modes, ride-by-wire, and more. The big TFT console offers Bluetooth connectivity and a multi-info display with a neat layout.
So, is Honda planning on bringing the NT1100 to India soo? Well, we can not be sure of it for now. The reason behind this is that Honda could possibly be patenting the design and name of the NT1100. It is something that manufacturers often do.
