Honda has launched the 2023 Shine 125 in India. The bike is now OBD 2 compliant and E20-ready as well. The bike is priced at INR 79,800 for the drum version and INR 83,800 for the disc version. All prices ex-showroom.
What’s new in the 2023 Honda Shine 125?
The new update includes a new front visor with chrome garnish, chrome side covers, new graphics and a chrome muffler cover. The customers can choose from 5 colour options – these include Black, Geny Grey Metallic, Matte Axis Grey, Rebel Red Metallic and Decent Blue Metallic.
Other design changes have remained the same. This includes a single pod headlamp, body coloured front fender and five spoke alloy wheels. The bike rides on tubeless tyres. The Ground Clearance of the Shine is 162m, while the wheelbase measures 1285mm. These offer a stable ride while the 651mm long seat improves the comfort of the rider and pillion on longer rides.
Some of the features on the Shine 125 include engine start/stop button, external fuel pump that reduces maintenance and combined braking system with equaliser.
Powertrain of the 2023 Honda Shine 125
The Shine continues to be powered by a 125cc single cylinder engine. This air-cooled unit gets fuel injection tech, enhanced smart power (eSP) and Honda’s ACG starter. The engine is now OBD2 and E20 fuel ready. This unit is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Warranty Details of the 2023 Honda Shine 125
Honda is offering warranty upto 10 years on the 2023 Shine 125. This includes a standard warranty of 3 years along with a provision to extend it by further 7 years. Honda claims this is the industry’s first offering to offer extended warranty scope of up to 10 years, including high-value parts. With numerous benefits, this warranty program aims to revolutionise customer retention and enhance the overall experience. Honda customers can conveniently avail of this service at any authorised Honda service centre.
